On tap at Boneyard Bistro in Sherman Oaks, CA.

Pours a clear cranberry juice color with a reddish-white head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of raspberries and raspberry juice but there is a slight hint of cleaning product aroma as well. Taste is of sweetened raspberries and raspberry juice with some grain/malt flavors on the finish. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good fruit lambic but not as good as some similar ones I have had in the past.

A: Very bold red.
S: Cherrys. Which if it's supposed to be raspberry is weird but that's just the way it is I suppose.
T: Strong cherry flavor with some raspberry notes.
M: Sits like a jolly rancher.

Overall I thought this beer was a little fake tasting. The amount of fruit flavor was so intense the beer tasted unpleasant and overwhelming. Lindimans has a better showing in my opinion.

Appearance: One finger head of white bubble recedes down to a ring with some lacing. Dark red/medium purple in color.

Smell: Very nice and inviting. Raspberries dominate the aroma with a hint of hops.

Taste: Excellent flavor. Great tartness with raspberries and a nice, yet minimal amount of grain and hops.

Mouthfeel: Very carbonated with a great body.

Overall: I really enjoyed this lambic. I will definitely be purchasing this one again.

Appearance: It pours a burgundy color with some frothy pink head. The Lace was also very thick with huge bubbles. There was a bit of sediment to the body.

Smell: Mainly berries with a sour finish.

Taste: The raspberries are dominant and are sweet at first but finish very tart. There is some spice to the aftertaste.

Mouthfeel: There is allot of carbonation to this medium bodied beer.

Overall: Not bad, a little tarter than most frambroise that I have tried but that is not a totally bad thing. I do think the overpowering carbonation does create an issue with the tast.

Bottled May 05, 2010. 12.7 oz bottle poured into a Sam Adams perfect pint.

Framboise pours a deep red-brown color with a light pink head with very good retention and lacing. The aroma of raspberry preserves was noticeable even while pouring, so the strong raspberry sweetness in the aroma is hardly a surprise.

I am drinking this right after their Gueuze and I find it surprising that the base beer is completely dominated by raspberries... well, not technically the base beer but say the beers that started the same at different points in time? All I detect beneath the raspberries is a strange, chalky note.

The taste is way too sweet in an odd way, and that's when the sweetness should come as a pleasant change :/ I think it's sweeter than real raspberries, BUT the acidity is strong too. Anyway, I was curious and some googling yielded:

"This brew is made with fresh raspberry juice which is matured and blended with gueuze-lambic to produce a dry, sweet aperitif."

Yeah, this is way too sweet for the real fruit. I suppose this travesty is done to enhance the popular appeal, but to repeat myself once more, this is just too sweet!

The carbonation is ok but struggles to clean the sweetness off the palate. Eh, I am so disappointed, I don't even bother at this point.
