Pour is blood red with pink hues and a dark pink head. The nose is overly sweet and singular, loads of raspberry purée and raspberry syrup. Taste is just that with maybe a touch of tartness. Decent carbonation and syrupy feel. Simple and too sweet, no lambic notes or depth.

Arrives a deep, clear garnet color with a whiff of foam sprinkled across. No retention nor was any expected.
Smell is raspberries, slight malt and sugar notes. Balance is very good, not overpowering.
Taste is the same, raspberries, light malt, slight oakiness, somewhat tart. Very well balanced.
Reasonably smooth, somewhat tart while still being refreshing and sweet. Dessert in a glass. The equal of Duchess du Bourgogne.

12.7oz bottle served in a snifter.

L - dark brick red color with a pink head that left a sheet of lacing.

S - lots of raspberries, tart and sweet.

T - raspberry dominates the taste, sweet at first but then the tart takes over, good stuff.

F - medium bodied with good carbonation and easy drinkability.

O - a nice treat every once in a while.

25.4 ounce bomber, corked and caged, poured into one of my Stone Double Bastard sampling glasses.

A: pours a bright red hugh, barely translucent, with a thin white head on top. Surprising carbonation level. 3.5

S: tart raspberries dominate the nose. Very natural smelling. 4.0

T: taste follows the nose. Delightfully tart raspberries. Sweet and Sour. A one trick pony, but it does what it says it does... delivers lots of raspberry flavor. Dry finish. 4.0.

M: light and dry, with decent carbonation for the age. Even creams up a little in the mouth. 4.0

D: drinkable and enjoyable. I would have this again, but I wouldn't want to buy it/drink it in large quantities. 4.0

Poured into a tulip glass from a 12.7oz bottle.

Pours a slightly opaque dark red with some ruby hues and a nice light pink head.

Aroma is of fresh raspberries. Nice raspberry jam and some good fruit juice notes. Slight chalky yeast notes can alos be perceived. SLight tartness is perceived.

Flavor follows the nose. Nice fruit juice notes. Raspberries and more raspberries. A sharper tartness than other raspberry lambics I've had. Nice and balancing. Chalky and yeasty notes definitely are precent. Some slight phenols are perceived as well as some oak notes. Mouthfeel is crisp, refreshing and dry with nice tartness.

Pretty good lambic. Every now and then I really enjoy these beers and this is definitely one of those days. Nice raspberry jam flavors mingle well with the yeast notes.

On tap at Boneyard Bistro in Sherman Oaks, CA.

Pours a clear cranberry juice color with a reddish-white head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of raspberries and raspberry juice but there is a slight hint of cleaning product aroma as well. Taste is of sweetened raspberries and raspberry juice with some grain/malt flavors on the finish. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good fruit lambic but not as good as some similar ones I have had in the past.
