Yes, yes, yes! I've been patiently waiting for this brewery to step up their game and they've done so! This is a dark beauty with garnet highlights and a beautiful khaki crown. Dark malts with a touch of chocolate on the nose. Good mouthfeel, a touch of copper on the finish (knowing the water profile in Wallace, this isn't surprising). Dark malt and chocolate on the palate. This is THE best beer I've had from this brewery.

I had this one at the Post Ale house in Spokane. I believe they had just gotten it on tap.
Served in a shaker, the beer is very dark brown with a stick tan head.
Nose of dark fruits and roasted malts.
The taste is very similar to the smell. Generous roasted malts, raisins and a bit of coffee. Yet there is not much bitterness (either hop or roasted based). Beer would be easy to pair with hearty fall food.
I liked both beers I tried from this new to me brewery.

On-tap in CDA, Idaho, served in a pint glass.
A: Dark brown, clear body with hints of red...decent tan head.
S: Sweeter dark caramel malts and toasted grains, suggestions of chocolate and hints of peanut butter.
T: Same as the nose; malty, caramel, toffee, chocolate, faint coffee, grain, sweeter malt, bready malt, toasted bread. Dry, toasty cocoa finish.
MF: Medium bodied, slightly dry with a clean finish.
O: Really decent dark lager, really. I enjoyed every drop of this; not quite hearty, but unabashedly malty. Good stuff from a small brewery.
