From the pint can marked 1284-14:39. Sampled on May 25, 2014.

It pours a basic pale yellow with a quick lasting white fizzy head. Yup, it looks like a beer.

The aroma is light and fruity with scads of apple, pear and watermelon. The malts and hops are more in the background.

Light and refreshing body.

The taste if more entrenched on the fruit character than anything else. Oh yes if you really look for it you find some biscuit malts and clean hops but the juicy fruitiness takes center stage for sure.

a. Clear and yellow in color. 2 inch whet head that reduces to .25 inches when poured into a pint glass from a 16 oz can. Found swirling the bottom of the can added lemon flavor.

s. Lemon and wheat

t. Lemon and pilsner. Light, refreshing.

m. The carbonation in this beer lasts throughout. Very good mouthfeel.

o. Above average to good. I like it better than most shandy beers. Might have tried mine before it was cold enough.

A: Pours a clear pale to medium yellow in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass with faint amounts of lemon yellow highlights. The beer has a half finger tall sudsy foamy fizzy white head that quickly reduces to a large patch of thin film and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Minimal amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Light to moderate aromas of Del's lemonade (reminding me of my visits from my childhood) - slightly sweet with just a hint of tartness and lots of lemon. Hints of cereal grain malts.

T: Upfront there is a light to moderate flavor of cereal grain malts with a light amount of corn adjuncts. There is a light to moderate flavor of lemon rind, corn syrup/simple syrup, and slightly tart lemon juice - really reminds me of the Del's frozen lemonade flavor but with a little less sweetness.

M: Light to medium bodied with moderate to heavy amounts of carbonation. Crisp upfront with a thin/watery aspect to it.

O: Overall this is enjoyable but it is not as good an example as some of the other shandy/radlers I have had the opportunity to sample this summer. Easy to drink and refreshing for a hot summer day.

A: light golden yellow in color. Forms a fizzy white head that fizzes away rather quickly leaving just a spotty surface coating. No lacing

S: aroma is lemons and beer and while that combination sounds like it should be appealing, it manages to come off as artificial and annoying.

T: taste like a snapple mixed with a cheap beer. Moderately sweet.

M: thin and fizzy. No bitterness.

O: I like lemonade. I like beer. I like radlers. Unfortunately this beer tastes like a cheap American lager in which someone dissolved a handful of lemonheads candy. Not appealing.

Pour is a clear pale urine with lots of tight white head. Nose is heavy lemonade and hints of booze. Smells more like a lemon wine cooler. Taste is not as strong lemon but very sweet and not a big sugary. Boozy like a wine cooler. Still a decent bit of lemonade. Light body, well carbonated, not something I would want to drink.
