What can I say! I've been waiting to re-taste this beer for almost 3 years now.
All my memories of this beer comes from the BEER FROM JAWS!
If a shark can make history, why not the beer!
Really nothing exciting. Pours and looks like any other light domestic beer. Clean, clear a good amount of carbonation.
The taste was light and crisp. Enjoyable. There was more flavor in here than in many other of the 'standard' domestic canned beers.
On the can, was printed the "CLAM BEER" I can really see this.
I can envision being up on Cape Cod, in a local restaurant, taking down a number of fresh clams and oysters on the half shell.
I am not looking for a lot of complexity and flavours here, just something that is refreshing, clean and honest.
And that is exactly I had I think of this beer!

A: Gold / amber lager; pours very clear with a fizzy head that builds fast and dissipates quickly.
S: Not too much going on; a bit of malt maybe. Pretty neutral experience.
T: Not bad for an AAL; rather sweet with just enough spice to keep me interested. Sixteen ounces went down very easily.
M: Again, better than I expected; there's enough here to elevate this beer above most of the macros I've tried.
O: This beer surprised me a bit, and I might just reach for another on a sweltering summer day. Definitely a cut above many of the pale, watery offerings to be found within this genre.
