Read about this a few months ago. I'm happy to see it on the shelves at last.

Pours a bright, crisp yellow/gold with a huge, frothy head into my glass. Lots of lacing. Beautiful presentation.

Spicy with a huge dose of bread. Not as crisp as I figured.

*Checks can again* this is from Narragansett? Wow. It's very delicate. Tasty. Clean.

As it goes down, it leaves a nice hop bite and a chewy/doughy aftertaste.

I believe I've found my go-to beer. Despite the fact that it costs slightly more than their Lager, I would buy more of it. A 12 pack would be nice too.

A perfect beer for a warm spring day as well as opening day Tiger baseball...although it's been a dud of a opening day so far.Pours into a pilsner glass a light to medium golden with a nice looking frothy blooming white crown atop that leaves multiple broken rings of lace as it settles slowly.Aromas are muted with a bit of toasted grain, peppery hops, and a faint nuttiness with is different for the style.A malt tilted pilsner with a firm grain flavor on the palate, a decent shot of peppery/spicy hops in the finish.A quaffing pilsner for sure because it's on the dryer side and lighter bodied, hey the Tiger game just got better!

nice pale yellow and crystal clear

substantial head with solid lacing

subdued nose but nice herbal hops

mouthfeel is really nice and full on this one some definite body

taste is clean and crisp with a tasty hop finish

overall really like this one and is a great representaion of the style and kudos to narragansett for continuing to develop quality beers. Its a little late in the season for this one for me but will close out summer with this as my staple.

love the 6 pack of tall boys they offer there beer in and for $10 a great price performer.

From the 16 fl. oz. can with no noticeable bottling or expiration date. Sampled on February 16, 2014.

It pours like a pilsener with its very heady yellow color and moderate carbonation. Head sticks around forever it seems.

Aroma of toasted grain and barley with a very clean, crisp hop note. It feels so pure.

The body is light and refreshing which is about what I would expect from a pilsener.

The taste has this sort of grainy and malty character at the start with a clean, crisp hop finish that does not linger long but is memorable. Highly refreshing and drinkable. They also have a small batch pilsener but this one is comparable to it.

Pale golden color with a head that rapidly expands up and over the rim but eventually drops to a thick pool in the center of the surface. Thick clusters of lacing all over. Smells quite Bohemian with the buttery biscuit malts, though it's missing the spicy hops. Taste leans a more towards the German Pils side of things...floral, minty hops and bready grain coated with a fine layer of honey. Fairly crisp, medium body. As a Czech Pilsner, it's not exactly what I want. I like the malt, but the hoppy balance is lacking. Also, no Saaz in a Bohemian Pils? I'd like it fine as an easy-drinker, except that is cost me 40% more than regular Narragansett and there are better options in this price range.

Consumed 9/6/13

Appearance: Crystal clear, gold - golden yellow when held to the light, but really more of a golden copper - pours with an average-sized, bright white head, leaves a few spots of lacing

Smell: Somewhat mild, but definitely interesting - somewhat spicy, decidedly German hops - herbal and grassy (good for the style) - some pale malts, lightly grainy - Narragansett lager yeast

Taste: Clean and crisp with a nice hoppy finish - pale malts and pale grains - lightly bready, crackery - nice level of hops for a pils - spicy, herbal, and grassy without being over the top - most of the hop flavor pops up in the finish, which results in a nice, dry finish that makes you want to drink more - low bitterness - maybe a touch too sweet, but only slightly

Mouthfeel: Light to medium body, nicely carbonated, nice finish and very quaffable, but could actually be more crisp

Overall: Best paired with a rhapsody

This is very good stuff. There are better German PIlseners out there, and this brew isn't quite as interesting as its bigger brother (the brewed-once Private Stock Imperial Bohemian Pilsner), but it's still remarkable. I would rank this on the top tier of 'Gansett beers, along with Narragansett Bock and Narragansett Summer Ale. And at $8.29 for a six pack of tallboys, I will be stocking this in my fridge pretty regularly.
