Located in one of the several 'hot spots' of Bangalore, this store is a welcome sight. The selection of imports (american and belgian) is the prime reason to come here. Along with glassware if you fancy some. This isn't a gigantic place as one would find in some western countries, but for India, it's nice. Pretty good wine selection, too. It's just a couple blocks from a French cheese guy (Danielle) too.
Price is of course more than Indian beers, but if you're there as an expat or vacationer the price is pretty cheap.

Main purpose to review was I felt responsibility to re-confirm the availability of US beers. Visiting in mid-July 2013. Yes, they still have Flying Dog and Rogue, though the only Flying Dog they had was the Snake Dog IPA, and it had an imported date of "2010-2011". It tasted a bit skunky. Although I can't remember trying this in the US with a fresh date, I don't imagine it should've tasted like that... and for Rs. 200 ($3.33) per 12-oz bottle I wouldn't get it again.
The Rogue was in good supply, however. Nearly every bottle was again Rs. 200 per 12-oz. bottle, but the import date was "October 2012", so it was fairly more recent (9 months-old imported). They had Dead Guy Ale, Dry Hopped St. Rogue Red, Mocha Porter, and Brutal Bitter (now called Brutal IPA). I've tried all but the Brutal Bitter, and they all taste as good as I remember, so the import date was recent enough to be enjoyable. I would think about getting these again, but Rs. 200 per 355 mL is more expensive than the Rs. 200 per 500mL beers you can get at local breweries like Toit, Arbor, Punjabi By Nature, Bier Club, and Barleyz (in order of my preference).
Cheers!

There are quite a few American craft beers and Belgian beers available in Bangalore in supermarkets like Spar. But what this place has that you will find no where else is the St. Bernardus Abt 12. Other beers you will find are Chimay, St Feuilllien, Rogue, Flying Dog, St Christoffel, Achel. Although Chimay may be out of stock soon as they had some problems getting it. There seems to be a new direct distributor for Chimay. But haven't seen them in Bangalore yet.
Its not a very big shop, but a neat and tidy one and he even does door delivery if you can order more than 2 crates of belgian beer. The staff and the store manager do not have much knowledge on the beers, but are very friendly. He gave me a complimentary Chimay chalice for getting just 4 St. Bernardus Abt 12, 1 St. Bernardus Tripel and 1 Chimay Red. This sort of gesture will certainly make me go to his store more frequently. The price is the usual MRP on these Beers which ranges from Rs180 - 220.

One of the finest beer stores in India for sure. Great selection of American and Belgian craft beers are available here. Line up includes Chimay, St Feuilllien, St Bernardus (incl the Abt 12), Rogue, Flying Dog, St Christoffel (Dutch), Ara Bier, Orval and others. Rajesh is a great guy to know, really helpful. Takes great care to ensure door to door delivery - I get him to ship the stuff to me all the way to Delhi (at my cost of course), though delivery within Bangalore is free. The staff is very helpful, though not very knowledageable. They have glassware too, which is available at Rs 150 ($3) apiece. Even the beer is quite reasonably priced, though expensive if compared to the regular Indian line up. Definitely worth a visit and pickup if you are in Banagalore and looking for good beer.

Bangalore Beers and Wines is the best shop in Bangalore for beers. They stock Rogue, Flying Dog, Christoffel, Kapittel, St. Bernardus, St. Feuillien, Chimay, Arabier. All the Indian brands are also stocked. They have adequate inventories and cater to party orders too. Glassware from each brewery is also available.
Nice clean, layout and excellent service. This is not the typical wine shop that you might see in Bangalore.
Call Rajesh on 98451 32374 for details, directions, home delivery service and so on
