Stopped by on the way home from work today. You really can't miss it - there is a huge silo converted into a giant can of Dale's Pale Ale. You can literally see it from over a mile away!
Atmosphere is noticeably more upscale than their original restaurant in Lyons. It's a large place with many tables, booths, and a long bar (more on which later). Similar decor to the original with lots of blues-related memorabilia like album covers and gig posters. There's also an upstairs area but I didn't check it out.
I had a seat at the bar - two flat screens but, more importantly, several dozen craft beer taps. There is no shortage of great beers here. In addition to the O.B. Gordon, Ten Fidy, Old Chub, Yella Pils, and Dale's, there was also(to name a few)...
PtE, Bear Republic, Stone IPA and Bastard, Prima Pils, Alaskan Smoked Porter, Wipe Out IPA, 1554, etc... Plus seasonals from many brewers. Overall a great selection and no crap beer on tap. If you really want a BMC product, they have a few cans below the bar. Oddly there were no bottles anywhere but then again, Oskar is known for it's cans.
Service was average at best but it's a new place (just opened 10/12/09) and was pretty busy so I can cut them some slack. The pulled pork sandwich I ordered came quickly and was fairly good.
One bonus, the place is staffed by a lot of very attractive women, for those of you who care about such things.
Definately a great new destination for any beer advocate. Highly recommended
