Cask pint at C'est What last night.
Deep orange pour with copper highlights and half a finger of creamy off-white head. Some decent lace spots as it descends. Creamy aroma... bready, some floral notes, but more than anything like smelling a heavy cream (probably a combination of the breadiness, flowers and diacetyl).
Smooth, bready flavour, again with the creaminess coming to the fore. Mild diacetyl and a light floral bite to balance the sweetness. Pleasant in a boring kind of way, and a decent cask. Carbonation is low, and the body has a nice chewiness to it.
I doubt I'd get it again, but I can see how this is a pleasant quaff.

On cask at C'est What's 2010 Fall Festival of Craft Breweries. Pours an amber colour with thin off-white head. Smells of floral English hops with some bready malt. Flavour has a nice bitterness for an English Ale. A little bit thin in the body. Below average for Duggan's, but still an ok beer.

Grapefruit colour, lots of bubbles on top. 45 IBU, and its there. Medium mouthfeel. Tasty stuff though more of a hop story than anything. Average drinkability. Not a lot of complexity, and more or less an average beer. Not objectionable as a cask.Ordinary.
