I bought a six pack the other day when I saw it for $8 which is a bargain considering what I had seen it going for in the past.
Lighter golden color with a sticky one finger head that really hangs around and leaves good lacing. I like that.
Usually, aromas are my favorite parts of DIPAs, but despite the bubbles, this doesn't offer up many smells. The taste comes through with both fruity (orange zest) and citrus notes, and is up there in bitterness.
I thought it was a little watery, not quite enough body for the style, I like a little more medium body. This may have helped the drinkability though, as it went down smooth, and helped disguise the 9% abv.
