Filled a growler for $9.99 at The Party Source...
A clear amber colored base, huge white head, long retention and good lacing. The aroma is very mellow in high quality hops, slight tones of grainy malts, bosc pear and green apples.
The taste/feel is noticeably dry, medium-body with low-to-no carbonation yet leaves a cornucopia of flavors on the palette; mostly of hops and freshly picked apples, with slight tones of banana and maple syrup. Drinkable? Sure is, especially with such a high abv, just the right amount of flavor and teasing (as a DIPA)...
Final Thought: Quite a nice brew that bolsters quality hops with a unique mix of sweet secondary flavors. Recommended!
