Appearance - Clear amber with a small but creamy head.
Smell - Orange, brown sugar, caramel, and a bit of alcohol. A slight tart component is there.
Taste - Sweet and caramelly, with a slightly acidic finish. The citrus from the nose is absent from the taste. The hops are subdued, but what is there is crisp and tasty.
Mouthfeel - Medium body and carbonation.
Notes - In most respects, it's a pretty typical amber ale. The acidic finish is a bit weird, but it's not strong enough to be truly unpleasant. I wouldn't turn one down if offered, but there's better ambers out there.
