POURED INTO PINT GLASS
Apperance - dark black color, with just a hint of deep red hues sneaking through the thinnest parts of the glass. truly exceptional.
Smell - roasted coffee and vanilla beans with rich malty tones. invigorating aroma but not over powering by any means.
Taste - rich malty flavor with smooth roasted beans (vanilla n' coffee) and a hint of dark choclate in the end.
MouthFeel - very light initial hit with stronger full bodied tones taking you through the second half. not over powering though.
Drinkability - very drinkable for a porter. but thats a relative statement of course, porters are the more hard-hitting of styles in the brew world.
Overall, i think this is a very good beer. And as for the vanilla porter sub category, it ranks very high in my opinion. a must try.
