A: Dark brown, medium bodied (a little watery looking), good one-finger off-white head. Decent retention and lacing.
S: Strong vanilla, caramel, toffee aromas... a very sweet nose overall. Malty backbone is there.
T&M: Sweetness dominates--kind of "iced french vanilla coffee with extra cream and sugar" style. Roasted malts are present to balance the taste out somewhat. A little thin on the mouthfeel; doesn't provide the thick, rich aftertaste I'm looking for from a porter with this kind of sweetness.
D: The sweet notes carry this beer a long way and if I ever find myself in CO I'd love to try it on draft.
