GLASS: Pint Glass
TEMP: Cellared at approx 45 degrees
Nice dark amber with a ruby tint. Looks very good. Lost points for having virtually no head at all.
Nice, sweet malty nose. Caramel. Brown sugar notes. Slight hint of spices. Roasted nuts. Smells very seasonal/festive.
Roasty malt flavor. Slight hint of sweetness (not as much as expected, from the nose). Toasted nut flavors. Hint of spices (nutmeg/cinammon).
Feels abit light for the style. Still has a good body, though.
A pretty good winter warmer is what we have here.
