Poured out of bottle into a Snifter. The beer was a bit too cold when I poured it. The head was minimal, but had a nice auburn color to it. I thoroughly enjoyed the aroma of the beer. The hops (Chinook, Mt. Hood) come through nicely with some spiciness. The beer has a nice mouthfeel with good body and a nice creaminess. The hops in this beer are very nice. There is a real nice floral character to the hops and they provide nice support to the malt without being overly bitter. There are some alchohol notes in the beer, but they are set off nicely by the roundness of the malt. The beer is slightly sweet, but not so much so that you wouldn't want another. I think I could drink 2 or 3 of these before having my fill.
I enjoyed this beer very much. I will look for it in the future.
