Poured into a Green Flash cask-style glass. Sticker placed on the label by the liquor store says 3/29/2012.
A- Pours a reddish light brown color with a 1/4 inch head that doesn't retain well before becoming a thin ring around the edge of the glass and light surface foam. Average lacing.
S- Sweet cereal grain nose with notes of caramel.
T- Initial sweet malt fades into a somewhat stale aftertaste. Bitterness is minimal and so is alcohol presence. The malt exhibits mainly biscuit, butter and brown sugar.
M- Thin and crisp with a fairly substantial body and medium-low carbonation.
O- Quite good for the ABV. Can be sessionable even if it's not meant to be.
