Noticed my original review (6.19.2009) was no longer here... Good thing I keep notes...
A - Slightly more than a fingers worth of pure white partially fluffy white head... Minimal retention... A pale straw color... Slightly hazed... A moderate bit of brisk-to-speedy carbonation... Some bubbles cling to the sides of the glass...
S - I assume that's the agave that dominates the nose... Also present are wheat notes and muted notes of tropical fruit... Some bready malts as well...
T - Lots of bready malts to start... Some slight citrus notes... Also present is a flavor I can't quite place which I'm guessing is the introduction of the agave... Not necessarily my cup of tea (beer)...
M - Light to medium bodied... Mild, yet lively carbonation... A bit of sleekness...
D - An interesting ingredient doesn't always make for an interesting beer... Not completely terrible, but not something that I would recommend or seek out again...

12 ounce bottle, a friend gave this to me recently and I have no idea how fresh/old this is. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a hazy gold color with a half inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both average. The brew smells like wheat, apples and honey/agave nectar. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some bready malt and apricots noticeable too. It's mostly sweet tasting. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit coating and has a decent amount of carbonation. I think it's an OK brew, but it really doesn't do anything for me. With that being said, it's worth trying if you've never had it before.
