Tasted in a 16 oz wheat glass from draft at Emil's on May 17, 2017. Look hazy yellow, excellent head retention and spotty lacing. Smell is bread, nut, yeast, cactus and some spice aromas. Taste is bread dough, biscuit malt, fruit and nut flavors. Feel is light in body, smooth and a little dry and bitter in the finish.

Pours a hazy, golden color. 5/4 inch head of an off-white color. Good retention and good lacing. Smells of strong wheat, pale malt, slight sweet malt, hint of earthy'herbal (agave?), and slight hops. Fits the style of an Herbed / Spiced Beer or an American Pale Wheat Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of strong wheat, strong pale malt, slight sweet malt, slight hops, and slight earthy/herbal flavor ( agave?). Overall, good appearance, decent aroma, body, and blend. A pretty solid wheat backbone.

Pours hazy gold with foamy white head, but disappears quickly without much lacing. Smells of a nicely of wheat, yeast and malt. Pleasant on the nose. Tastes solid and sweet for a wheat, but somehow underwhelming. Easy to drink and forget.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a pint glass. A hazy yellow color with a 1-finger white head that quickly dissipates.
A decent wheat beer, but nothing to rave about.

Cloudy bright golden body, soapy white head, mild carbonation visible. Smell is grain and mild hops, faint chalk, faint herbs. The flavor tastes like an adjunct lager with mild guava notes tacked on at the end, but transforms before my very papillae to take on a buttery pizza-herb like flavor, perhaps similar to jasmine. Neither dry nor bitter.
It was drinkable, but there was a train wreck that happened between idea and execution. The guava flavor was a flash in the pan, right before a whole big mess of questionable flavors took over. Let's all just collectively forget this one...

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a Shaker pint glass, there is no "best by" date that I can find.

APPEARANCE: pours a hazy, golden color with less than one-finger white head that quickly dissipated until a thin, broken layer of small bubbles remained, there is some lacing on the glass, lighter carbonation.

SMELL: bread, banana and some citrus.

TASTE: the taste follows the nose, initially sweet agave and then banana bread.

PALATE: medium body and lighter carbonation.

OVERALL: this is a very good wheat beer, It's something a little different with the sweet agave, I would recommend to anyone who enjoys the style.

My excitement for this beer was eclipsed by its mediocrity. At the end of the day, there's not even a hint of anything related to tequila; all you have is a very bland wheat beer from an underwhelming brewery.

Lots of sediment/cloudiness from the yellow pour with about 1" of head of the white variety on it. Aroma, I guess this is agave flavor country.

Taste, not much going on, no off flavors. Mouthfeel comes off on that wheat grist tip.
Fruited wheat ale. You know how these go. They have their place, prolly not for the type who reads or writes reviews though.

Look: Cloudy golden orange color pours with very little head.

Smell: Lots of citrus, some yeast and a little honey/sweetness.

Taste: Lemon peel some very slight bitterness, grainy and bready, slight underlying honey sweetness.

Feel: Easy drinking light body, higher carbonation.

Overall: Easy drinking wheat beer.

12-oz bottle into wheat beer glass

A - 2 fingers off-white foam over a murky body of brownish gold, high visible carbonation

S - grain, yeast, citrus-like fruit (that would be the agave)

T - wheat bread, lemon/agave notes, sweetness from the agave

M - smooth, creamy, medium body, medium carbonation

O - It's sweeter and fruitier than your typical wheat beer, fairly average over all, not bad.

Bottle at America on Tap
Deep yellow color, smattering of bubbles on top. Rich bready malt with plenty of spicy wheat character and a pinch of earthy hops. Couldn't find the agave in here, but I'm interested enough to try a bottle again in the future.

This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a light burnt orange color with a slight transparency about it. Carbonation could be seen rising at a moderate pace. The head was fizzy with a mix between foaminess and bubbles. There was barely any lacing.
The smell started off with sweet agave and sweet wheat. Light citrus and pine also show a little bit of presence.
The taste was mainly sweet through the previously mentioned flavors. A sweet fruity aftertaste runs into the finish.
The mouthfeel sat about a light on the body with a good sessionability about it. The carbonation felt pretty light. This is definitely crushable.
Overall, pretty good stuff, its actually really sweet in the flavor all around but because it maintains a good sessionability, its a crushable one.

On-Tap 16 oz. (The Ale House)

Pours a nice cloudy dark orange color, nice carbonation, with a nice one-finger white head, which does leave some sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, nice yeast note, with some wheat. The taste is malty, yeastly, nice wheat/grassy notes. Medium body. Overall not a bad brew.

From the bottle: Cloudy yellow. Small white head. Fruity aroma. Flavors of sweet fruit and slight bananna. Smooth. No bitterness. Enjoyable change of pace from other wheats. Would buy again. Slightly worth the coin.

Peaceful. Relaxing. Mellow. Cloudy cantaloupe color, bready, slightly sweet, kind of a citrus-glazed breakfast roll taste. I like it. It makes me smile.

12 oz. bottle, no bottled on date present. Finally getting around to trying this one from Breckenridge again.

Poured into a Duvel tulip glass.

A - Pours a cloudy golden orange body. Slightly chill hazed with some sediment visible. About a finger of thin bubbly white head that dies down. Some thin spotty lacing that doesn't really stick. Looks good for what it is.

S - A fairly plain grainy / wheaty, malty / yeasty aroma. A subtle sweetened citrusy effect going on from the agave. Grainy and malty above all else.

T - Taste follows the nose: creamy, grainy, wheaty, malty. Lightly sweet and fruity. The agave is noticeable when you really look for it. A standard wheat ale with some agave sweetness added.

M - Feel is smooth, crisp, & creamy. Easy-drinking, light-bodied, with good carbonation.

Overall, a standard inoffensive wheat ale from Breckenridge. Inoffensive and drinkable.

Pours a golden orange yellow sunburst, balanced with a cloudy, hazy body. Beautiful white head with rings of white lace dancing on the glass as I empty it's contents into my mouth. Very little nose. Lemon, sour biscuit up front, overly carbonated with an acidic slightly sweet finish. I use agave in a few recipes and it's sweet presence lingers on the finish but it is very underwhelming.

I'm very disappointed, I expected a much larger flavor relationship between the wheat and the agave and they both let me down. It looks much nicer than it drinks.

Clean and refreshing, a decent summer beer for a newbie but overall...yawn.

Appearance: very pretty orange/yellow, small/medium head.

Smell: It even smells sweet! A good bit of wheat complimented by citrus. Exactly what you would expect.

Taste: I enjoyed this quite a bit--obviously, it's going to be compared to Blue Moon because of its wheat character and citrus. The agave gives it a sweetness that's on the border of being too much for me, but it's an easy-to-drink, straightforward wheat flavor.

Feel: Smooth, light way to fill your gut. It had a decent amount of carbonation, which kind of added to its upbeat feel. Low-ish alcohol content contributes here.

Overall: I like wheat, but this might be too sweet, which is perfect for after you eat and are in the mood for a treat. I did not miss the coriander found in Blue Moon! Give it a try if you don't mind sweeter beers.

Had on draft in a chilled pint glass.
L- Cloudy, light orange. Decent bit of head but my pour had no lacing (could be the chilled glass?)
S- Sweet wheat and citrus.
T- I found this to be very sweet, it is close to being too sweet for me (similar to blue moon) however it was still very enjoyable. Beside the sweetness, which I assume is from the agave, there is a soft wheat, grainy and bready quality. This helps to smooth out the initial sweetness. There is also a hint of citrus (eventually aided by dropping in my orange garnish)
F- low carbonation, which makes it smooth and creamy, medium body which I think is also aided by the wheat and the agave nectar.
O- Not too much going on here. I think the Agave overshadows any other subtleties that would have come out and it is one of those beer that is aided by dropping the garnish in, however that isn't a huge knock. It knows what it is. An easy drinking, low ABV wheat beer and it fills that role alright.

Cloudy golden beer with a creamy foam. Smells pretty mild. Possible grain. Lightly sweet taste almost hints at chocolate. But it's sort of fruity, faint berry and more grain definitely wheat. Body is medium and a little chalky. Not sure what to make of this. Okay I guess but not one I'd seek out. On tap at old Chicago for cinco de mayo mini tour 2015.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 2/4/2015. Pours hazy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with some light streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, light banana, clove, wheat, biscuit, honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance of bready malt, agave, and fruity/earthy yeast notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, light banana, clove, wheat, biscuit, honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Minimal earthy bitterness and light wheat tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, light banana, clove, wheat, biscuit, honey, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. very nice robustness and balance of bready malt, agave, and fruity/earty yeast flavors; with zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.2%. Overall this is a damn nice pale wheat ale style. All around great robustness and balance of bready malt, agave, and fruity/earthy yeast flavors; and extremely smooth to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Fan of wheat beers but not of this one. Taste reminded me somewhat of a BL Limearita. Also has an odd smell that accompanies the beer. Swing and a miss on this one.

I bought this on grand opening day from a big box wine chain store. Some earthy fruit on the nose, a hint of mustiness and a shot of skunk. Pours hazy, murky straw under a ½” off-white foam cap that quickly dissipates to a thick film. I try to swirl off the skunk but it still interferes with the big fruity flavors over white wonder bread that lead to a tart finish and a suspicion of wet cardboard. Well carbonated with a very creamy medium body. My rating gives this beer the benefit of the doubt, assuming that some of the flaws in my bottle derived from mishandling. My rating gives this beer the benefit of the doubt, assuming that some of the flaws I tasted derived from mishandling by the big box retailer and not by brewing mistakes.

Boiling potatoes so I gotta make this quick.

Appearance (4.25) : Pours a hazy almost 100% opaque apricot colored body. Very pretty. On top is a two fingered head that isn't going anywhere soon. Very nice appearance.

Aroma (3.75) : Some typical pale aromas but they are not strong or overpowering. There's a little orange peel, orange flesh, lemon, wet celery, cliantro, and then the typical barley wheat malt mixture. Bouquet is medium strength.

Taste (4) : Refreshing and yummy. Full on wheat, a pinch of orange, and a minor hop bite at the end. Finishes with a bit of rolled wheat and hop. It's very flavorful. Pleasantly surprised.

Mouthfeel (3.75) : Rich and creamy, almost wit territory. Ends snappy and sharp with a pinch of dry. Light to medium bodied.

Overall (3.95) : Great stuff. I'm sure I'd get tired of it after awhile but for this quick taste it has been exceptional. Now I will finish it while making lunch (dinner?).
