This is a second beer I tried from them which sounded so very good but nowhere near lived up to expectations. Poured a 1" offwhite head of average life. The body is a hazy raw sienna yellow color. Not much smell, even warmed. Not much taste beyond an average BMC. The agave at most adds a mild hint of sweetness but otherwise all I get is very lightly toasted malt. No finish to speak of. And the website says this is an herbed/spiced beer? Really? I didn't know agave was an herb or a spice, it's just another sweetener really.

This smells a lot like any other wheat beer, in that it has a citrus and wheat quality to the nose...although there is a small sweetness to it as well.

The beer's taste isn't all that remarkable though it is pretty drinkable. It starts off like most any other wheat beer, pretty clean and with a hint of citrus...but then the sweetness, which is kind of different in taste and I'll assume comes from the agave, comes in and makes its presence known. It isn't an overpowering sweetness, though it grows a bit throughout the drink. Certainly not distracting and not bad. There's some wheat on the backend as would be expected and a little dryness. Clean.

It's a fair beer. Tastes pretty good, though it isn't going to blow anybody away. It's combination of sweetness and wheat beer will at least make it different in a way.

Poured into a Hoegaarden glass.

Very cloudy pale banana yellow. Sliver of head only retains as a ring. Looks kind of thick. Falling soapy lace. Interesting.

Smells mostly of spanky-tang wheat malts. Very light grassy hops and an almost farmhouse-like flamboyant yeast character.

Very herbal in character. Mostly wheat grains and some spice notes that resemble coriander. A bit minerally, but perhaps that’s the water quality, and I like it in here. There’s the faintest lemon note that’s really thinned-out and overpowered by prominent yeast and malt flavors. There’s something like a sweet vegetable syrup flavor in the background that is probably the agave. I can’t quite pin it down as such, but it’s interesting.

Really filled-out for the style. Still a medium to medium-light body, but it feels juicy and a little sticky. Makes room for the boosted carb presence.

A so-so pale wheat ale with a nice signature. If you like these sort of brews, you’ll probably get into this one. They call it an herbed/spiced beer, and for that, it really doesn't showcase the agave. What I'm trying to say is that it doesn't stand out THAT much from pale wheat ales I've had. Who's to argue styles? It's decent.

A - Cloudy, glowing straw blonde. Hazy but not turbid, a light lacing.

S - Not the nose i expected, this beer smells more like a sorghum beer. Semi sweet with mostly a bitter grain nose.

T - An even ratio of bitter to sweet. Light sweetness with mild wheat, sweet grain, and a partially viscous sweetener akin to a fruit juice. Mild on the palate.

M - Soft and smooth, with a mildly sticky aftertaste and feel.

O - Not a bad ale, but i was expecting more wheat and/or agave presence. Seems to be a touch of both and mildly presented.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Served well chilled.

A) Hazy golden brew, that started with a finger of foamy head. The head settled quickly to a thin collar. A little bit of lacing.

S) Really mostly the wheat and some citrus. As it warmed a bit, it had a little fruity pebbles aroma.

T) Wheat and other grains, which is followed by some sweetness, that I assume is the agave nectar. It fades out nicely to allow some hops flavor into the mix. Light citrus on the finish.

M) This is fairly light, with the right amount of carbonation, which maintains a crisp refreshing feel. A good clean aftertaste.

O) I was pretty impressed with the taste and mouthfeel of this beer. A definite warm weather beer, and not much beyond that from my perspective. If you get the chance to try it on a nice warm day, it will likely hit the spot.

12oz bottle

A- Pours a hazy golden orange color with yeast at the bottom of the bottle added into the glass.

S- The aroma is pale wheat malt and some sweetness from the agave nectar.

T- The taste is malt up front with a mild sweetness and a touch of hops in the finish.

M- The mouthfeel is light bodies with a good amount of carbonation.

O- Overall, this is a solid wheat beer that I enjoyed. Would be a perfect beer when you want something lighter with more flavor than the typical macro lager.
