A- Pours out a cloudy dark orange color. It's as hazy as an afterlife sequence out of a movie, barely can see through the glass. Head is about half a finger and sticks in lines and icicle shapes to the glass. A pretty looking beer.
S- Hops of pine sap, sweet lemon, overripe pineapple, more orange and fruitniess coming out as it warms up. Some savory caramel.
T- A stronger taste with the piney and pinappley hops blending well with the caramel and dark wheat bread flavors of the malt. The aftertaste has some lighter sweetness- think marshmallow.
M- Very bitter in the vein of a Stone beer, but somewhat surprising- it is also fairly carbonated which helps wash down the bitterness and prevents it from lingering. I can dig that effect.
D- A good hoppy and caramely beer that doesn't show any alcohol. I think it's a little better colder than your average IPA as the sweetness gets to be a little much as it warms, but a good style example.
