12oz botlle; no date.

Clear amber color with a sudsy 1-finger head. Smell is grassy hops with some floral undertones, not much malt to note. Taste is much of the same; bitter, earthy hops up front, with a light malt finish. The balance is off-kilter: the bitter hop dominates the palate, and not in a good way. Has a strong resin aftertaste. Mouthfeel is a tad watery.

Overall, this IPA is unbalanced, but still tasty. It is overly bitter with tasty citrus and pine hop flavor, but retains just enough sweet malt to round out the flavor. A little too watery on the mouthfeel, but an extemely drinkable IPA. Would love to give this another try on-tap.

Comes out of the tap a pretty clear amber with a respectable fine-bubbled pale golden head. Aroma is hoppy and resiny, typical for an IPA but still appealing. Flavor, fortunately, is better - decidedly hoppy, slightly bitter, with an evergreen undertone and a hint of sour citrus. Lively texture leaves a nice hoppy fizz. As far as IPAs go, not too shabby.

A- Very clear amber with a half-finger of off-white head, a few tiny bubbles rising through the brew, some light lacing clings to the glass as well

S- Strong pine and light grapefruit-citrus hop aromas

T- Pine hop and grapefruit citrus with moderate to strong bitterness throughout, hop fades toward the finish, only a very light caramel malt presence

M- Feels a bit light in the body, carbonation is moderate and pleasant

O- Not as balanced in the hop/malt category as I normally prefer in an IPA but very drinkable and the hop flavors are good and strong

Poured into a shaker pint glass. The beer is a slightly hazy copper-orange color. The light cream colored head sticks around for a while, and there's good sticky lacing. The beer smells of cedar and piny hops. This beer tastes spicy and woody. There's a nice hoppy citric finish. It's not quite as tangy as some other IPA's. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and slightly sticky.

Overall, I love the spicy, woody notes.
