It's not a wheat beer or witbier as this page suggests. It's an ale.

Anyways, it's crystal clear light yellow in color, not much in froth. Smells quite beery with a hint of fruit. Taste is interesting on this one, like it needs a little more work but it's okay overall.

i was borderline offended by this. not because its an awful beer, its not even bad really, but its certainly not what its advertised as, and it leaves a whole lot to be desired. the base wit isnt even all that good, and to take an exotic fruit like this, so distinct and pricey and uncommon in ale, and to have it lost to a too warm belgian yeast fermentation and an almost acrid tannic wheat malt base seems almost disrespectful or something, i dont know, but it made me more upset than a C level beer should. very little depth to it, more body than it needs, under carbonated, major lack of a radical ingredient, and presented about as poorly as possible. like they did it without caring about it. i hate that, its the sign of being too big for your own good, focusing more on the bottom line than the quality. im not saying thats the case here, i have no idea if thats true, but its a symptom. sometimes good breweries just miss, and i hope thats the case here, not a sign of things to come. best move for them would be to take if off tap, rack it back into an oak vessel, spike it with brett, and forget it for a few years...

Poured out a somewhat cloudy, straw-yellow color with a small, white head. It smelled of lemon, citrus, yeast and some clove. It has a nice sweet wheat flavor with a lemony kick. It was crisp and sharp.
