I got a can of this on a recommendation from Greggy.
Poured into a pilsner glass, a golden yellow color with large carbonation bubbles floating gently to the top, keeping a tall foamy head afloat with exceptional, chunky lacing. Nice, clean aural balance between the semi-sweet grainy malts and herbal, earthy hops. Flavor is clean and dry, bready malts dominate with just enough bitterness from the hops to keep things balanced. Hop flavor is grassy and lightly bitter. Crisp, clean, smooth mouthfeel, moderate carbonation. This is definitely one of those summer days, pounding them back in the sun kind of beers. Very nice all-malt pale lager. I'll purchase this regularly if it makes it's way to Rochester and is comparably priced to Grain Belt.

Poured from a refrigerated can into a Sam Adams' Perfect Pint glass. I've had about half of the 12-pack and am finally getting a chance to jot down my thoughts. For $12.99 for a 12-pack (about $2 more than what MGD goes for), the can tells me I get a "craft-brewed all-malt golden lager."
A=Slightly darker gold color, with off-white 3 finger head...very inviting.
S=Strong hop smell; more sweet than tangy.
T=First sip: very similar to adjunct lagers, with a tad less sweetness, perhaps, due to no corn. Hops are present, but not overpowering. I was hoping for something similar to Sam Adams' Boston Lager, but this is closer to Miller High Life. Enjoyable, just not spectacular.
M=Drinkable, but a bit too much carbonation and sweeter than I would like.
O=I see no reason to purchase this beer again...but I would drink it if offered. There are just too many better beers out there to consider purchasing this one again.

Finally getting around to reviewing this local lager. One of these day's I'll make it out to the BrewFarm to try some of his other creations.
Pours clear golden, with 1.5 fingers of foamy white head. Decent retention, some okay lacing. And a lovely little stream of bubbles rushing upward.
Smells quite grainy and full, with some faint lager yeast. Hate to repeat myself, but it has a nice full roundness to the aroma.
Taste is okay, but not great. It is, again, very grainy, and bready, with some grass-stem hop flavors. There's just a touch of bitterness on the back-end, but I'd like a little more to spice things up. In general, it drinks kinda flat rather than crisp or refreshing.
Medium-light body, a little heavier than I was expecting. Carbonation flares up early, then fades away. Finishes quick.
Not bad, but less than I was hoping for. It falls above the average pale lager. But my glass is almost empty, and I still don't think I know what it tastes like. The kind of beer you could drink a whole lot of on a hot day, but not something I'd drink for sheer enjoyment of beer.

Poured from the can to a Leffe chalice, how fitting.
Pours a nice looking honey gold with a thin white cap that falls off quickly. Smells of lightly toasted grains, sweet bread, just enough hops to provide balance. All these notes carry through to the taste - refreshing, drinkable, spot on.

A- Crystal clear golden with a two finger white head that lasts decenty well. Minimal lacing.
S- Sweet grain, light floral hoppyness.
T- Cracker, bread dough, light caramel, a light bit of hoppiness. Fairly sweet and lots of flavor throughout.
M- Not as clean of a mouthfeel as many but that's fine. It has a sticky sweetness in the finish. Carbonation is low.
O- A fairly tasty sweet pale lager. It's a fine beer, but I think part of the reason I'm enjoying it is there aren't very many good pale lagers. This one is good for a pale lager.

Pours a clear yellow with a dense three-finger head. Lots of big bubbles. The smell is biscuit, minerals, grass, something herbal. The taste is lots of grain, with some mild malty notes, plus a strong herbal character that gives way to a mild bitterness. It's a little thicker than I'd expect, nicely carbonated. A very fine lager. I'll seek this out next time I'm in Wisconsin.

A - Poured out a clear, golden-yellow color with a small, white head of thin foam. It left very little lacing.
S - It smelled of caramel and grains with a slight floral presence.
T - Vary good tasting lager. Great toasty flavor with a good malty sweetness. Mild spicy bitterness.
M - It was crisp and sharp. A light bodied lager with a clean, dry finish.
O - This is a really nice lager. I could see people in MN and WI going to it at a cookout on a hot day.
