This place is great. I swear I had gone here years ago and the selection was average. But now it seems to have a selection on par with Lone Hill. The guys running the place are really friendly too and always seem to want to make sure they have the beer that you want. So if you don't see something, just ask! I see many special releases, belgians, california stuff. Can't really find a bad thing to say about this place. It is in kind of a dumpy parking lot, but that just seems to make it cooler for me.

The best kept secret in the San Gabriel Valley. Anthony and his cigarette smokin dad are doin the damn thing, stocking all the freshest Stone, Port, Alesmith,Bruery,Drakes,Black Diamond and more. Reasonable prices, and Anthony will do his best to order anything not on the shelf. You could go to Bevmo or Whole foods, but you should support this guy. He isn't a terrorist, and he's very receptive to making changes when suggested. For a while, they were putting IPAs on the hot shelf, but not no mo. As for Liquor Stores, only Lone Hill is better in the entire region.

UPDATE: Certified has continued to expand their selection and offerings with a constantly rotating stock. They offer the best selection I've seen in the zone between Pasadena and Glendora by far...in fact, they're giving Lone Hill a run for their money. Service is great; run by a true beer advocate! Definitely worth a visit! Certified is my go-to in the area!
This typical corner liquor store/convenience market carries a surprisingly good selection of specialty beers.
The first five cooler doors are temptingly stocked top to bottom with a smattering of Belgians plus brands including (but are not limited to) Dogfish Head, Port Brewing, The Bruery, Allagash, St. Peter's, Bear Republic, Stone Brewing (including growlers), Anchor Brewing, Shipyard, etc. The next three or so coolers are a mixed bag including a smattering of craft beers with a decent sampling of English, and other imports, and a broader than typical range from breweries like Sierra Nevada and the like (update: they offer all of these plus SO much more now).
As you move to the back of the store they also have a shelf with beers stocked at room temp. Of course you'll find the usual macros in the adjacent coolers as you move to the back of the store...but frankly I've never ventured back too far.
The stock seems to be pretty fresh--I have never had a problem with something that has sat on the shelf for too long. Of course you pay a premium to drink the good stuff, but their prices are in line.
Overall a good small beer store. Recommended.
