I ran across PJ's while I was searching for a store in CO that had a reserve of TenFidy. Why must TenFidy be seasonal? I never know what to put for atmosphere for a store. It's just a store. It had lots of bottles and cans on shelves...so, outstanding I guess. I looked at their website and saw they have specials on 12pks - about $1-2 dollars less than other places. Very good then. They don't have as many coolers as some places so they don't have a lot of anything, but have a little of everything. Their weak point is their selection of larger bottles and singles - it's very small for a place that size. I suppose it may be a hard sell when you've got Oskar Blues, Left Hand, and Pumphouse just down the street filling growlers. I bought a case of Dale's pale ale and a 4pk of Deviant. They only had 2 Deviant 4pks and 1 was really banged up so I left it. I was also looking for Upslope Brown when a guy asked if he could help. The only Upslope Brown they had was also a little beat up, so again I passed. The guy said that Upslope was going to be there the next day from 3-6pm with free samples and that you get a free beer gift if you buy a 12pk. I returned the next day and was informed the Upslope rep was a no-show, but was offered a free extra can if I bought a 6pk and 2 with a 12pk. Still, no Upslope Brown and nothing else I was after so I made no purchase. At least they made the effort when the rep did not show up. I would return if in the area, but would not make a special trip.
