Went for a little drive after work to Yardley. I was really intrigued that they had Russian River on their website and they didn't. That was a bit of a letdown. Anyway onto the review.
You can miss this place if you don't pay attention to the sign.Kind of hidden from Main street and has a seprate entrance from the exit and a massive abandoned building right next door.
As you walk in fresh fruit greets you and looks damn good. No time for that I am on a mission. I heard this place had Russian River and to my disliking the had single bottles of Damnation and Consecration. I was misinformed I thought they had cases. Anyway your main craft area is right in front of you when you walk in. Always a great sign to be greeted by craft and not a cardboard cut out model holding a Miller Lite.
They do have some goodies here but nothing really far out of the way than the beer distibutors around our home.Although they did have an extended selection of Lagunitas and a few other oddball breweries. After some hard searching and debating I ended up with a variety case of Great Divide.
Service was non existent more worried about the drivers making to there store than trying to help someone out but they were friendly and did say Hello.
All and all a good place. A little out of the way for me but I will be come back some time.

As a smuggler from NJ, we do what we have to do.
Cold Spring Beverages have been my (Bell's Two Hearted and others) go to, closest PA beer by the case warehouse for years.
Imagine my surprise today. The Yardley, PA location. Bulldozed. Flattened.
The new location is a must visit if you are close to Newtown, PA.
773 Durham Rd, Newtown, PA 18940 to be exact.
Wow. You guys seriously upgraded.
The cold section is nearly the size of an ice arena. Just as cold. And racked with fresh kegs and cases.
Ya gotta see this place.

If you don't know where this place is... you're probably going to miss it. But if you make your way to Yardley, this is a must stop for any beer lover.
From the outside it looks like a run down, whole-in-the-wall, kind of place. But inside, you'll be greeted with an amazing selection of cases. Some of the noticeable breweries that I always see are: Russian River, Founders, Firestone Walker, Cigar City, Terrapin, Dark Horse, Bells, Ballast Point, and mostly anything that is available in the state of Pennsylvania. You could spend a small fortune here if you're not careful.
The staff is friendly and helpful, if you don't know what you're looking for. If you're just there to browse, be prepared for an onslaught of beer that you desperately want to buy. If thee is something specific that you're looking for, make sure to ask the managers.
The prices are on the high side, but they are still pretty reasonable.

So I live in Yardley and this used to be one of the places I always avoided because the prices seemed a little steep and the PA law was awful in the fact that we must buy cases...but my opinion has completed changed.
Lately, i've been coming here due to the fact that the selection is absolutely incredible. They carry Bells, Russian River, Ithaca, Southern Tier, and Ballast Point...just to name a few breweries that are not supplied in all of PA.
The service is fantastic and the older gentleman behind the counter will hook you up if you make good conversation with him. He told me that it seemed like I enjoyed beer, so he hooked me up with two Sculpins from the back of the counter. I was so happy!
The appearance is pretty sweet actually. It can very easily be missed if you are driving by because it's set in the back, secluded with woods. It's an old warehouse, next to another old, run down warehouse so it seems like this place would be a dump....WRONG. It's actually a great place to get good quality beer. The selection is a little pricey but then again, I don't mind paying a little extra to have my beer stored perfectly.
I rate this place an A and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to pick up a good case of beer.

Stopped in here on the way to a wedding. I was looking for beers I can't get in KY and they had a nice website that listed the breweries they carry. I agree with the previous reviewer, the place looks a little "off" from the outside, inside it is a large warehouse filled with beer.
I went in with a list and the guy at the counter went down my list and showed me where everything was in the store. Out of the ~50 beers on my list, they carried about 35 of them (some of mine were seasonals), so nice selection. They had a number of bombers which was great given the stupid case laws in PA. The guy said it seemed that I liked beer, would I be interested in anything from The Bruery? Hell yeah, can't get that back home. One bottle of 2Turtle Doves coming right up.
I ended up with a case of Storm King for ~$40 and a case of Brown Shugga for ~$40 and a whole bunch of bombers. Very glad I stopped, worth checking out.

Stumbled upon this beer distributor a few weeks ago, and have been back a few times since. Site in Yardley, PA...just outside the brink of the main town, yet off the main street that leads in and out of town. If you're not looking for Cold Springs, you'll probably never see it. The building isn't visible from the road, although there is a 4 x 8(ish) sign at the street at the entrance to the driveway.
The building is kind of scary looking...a little run down in appearance; BUT...a very surprisingly nice selection. Of course there's cases of beer, stacks upon stacks filling the warehouse...but there's also some rarities like Founders Breakfast Stout, some Allagash, Rogue Double Dead Guy, St. Bernardus Apt 12 and variety pack...to name just a few. Check out their website, they get some vintage stuff in from time to time as well and sell it to the public!
EDIT: So after a few months, Cold Spring has become one of my favorite places for beer. It's a hidden gem. As far as selection: ROWS of craft beer, where-as most distributors have just a small section dedicated to craft beer. Service is top-notch. The owner calls me personally for all rare beers he gets in, which seems to be frequent...and impressive. The prices are right on...if not cheaper than everywhere else. Have to track Cold Spring Beverage down if you're in the area.
