This place was packed on Inaguration Tuesday. I was lucky enough to snag a stool at the bar, good timing, someone was leaving.
I tried their Chocolate Stout, and it was good enough to order a few more.
The had a college game on a giant TV near the back of the restaurant area, and CNN at the bar.
The brewing equipment is on display smack in the middle of the place behind ginat panes of glass.
Service was quick, despite the crowd. They were pros and did not keep anyone waiting.
I noticed their very unique mug club. You bring your own mug and they tag it. The vast variety of big mugs behind the bar is quite a sight.
Next time I stop back I will get a seat and watch the giant screen while enjoying some dinner.

Visited back in April 2013 (from notes):
I visited the establishment on a Tuesday or Wednesday night, and it happened to be raining, so the place had pretty sparse crowd, maybe a dozen people in a place that could easy seat 60+ people. I sat at the bar, which had space for 15-20 people. The one thing that caught my eye was the kettles right in the middle of the joint. It was kind of cool, but I think that it broke up the space too much. So, the place was not really that happening that night, but I had the ESB and a Stout (it was on cask, but it had too much carbonation somehow...even the bartender said that he did not know what was wrong with it, but it just didn't taste or feel right. They may have had a dozen or so beers on tap, with a nice variety of styles. I also order some food, which was ok for pub grub...nothing special, but not bad. The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable about beer and since I was only one a few patron, we had a nice discussion about beer. Overall, a decent place, but if I go back, I will head here for beers before heading somewhere else for dinner.
