A - deep amber color, a bit darker than i like my dipas

S - pick up a lot of guava, lemon

T - follows the smell, pick up guava and some lemon citrus. Bitter

MF - medium on the body, nice carbonation and dry finish

O - it's a good dipa, stands out more for the distinct flavor and smell profile that you don't get in many dipas than it does for being a great dipa (if that makes sense)

Pours golden haze with white Lacey fading cap. Notes of hoppy malty ale and a big triple IPA punch to back. Really nice strong and simple triple IPA at 9% ABV from really good local (nearby) Ladyface!

Back for a “fresh brew batch” that was tested at 10% ABV. Really great IMPERIAL DIPA at our local ladyface brewery. (Great food and Japanese grill food as well!).

On tap at the St. Johns Beer Porch in Portland, OR.

A wonderfully clean dark amber color with a thin khaki head that almost disappears completely and leaves no lacing.

Very citrus and pine forward but with a good amount of light caramel sweetness underneath.

The flavor follows with tons of grapefruit, citrus rinds, and damp pine. A little toasted bread and again with light caramel sweetness.

Rich, bitter, low medium carbonation with a sticky residue finish.

This is a great IIPA, and one that almost drinks like a lighter American Barleywine. Cheers.

Color is burnt amber, aroma is pine and toasty malts, taste is a wonderful pine, bitter orange.. In a world of hazy, orange juice, lactose, oaty “ipa”s this stands above them all. Great beer.

A really great local DIPA. Full of bitter hoppy flavors, but balanced by subtle hints of citrus peel. A true imperial IPA that deserves more recognition than it currently has.
