Holy drink ability! Smell is very subtle roasted grains. Looks great with a nice tan head that doesn't dissipate.
Taste is different, instead of hitting you with flavors it subtly introduces you to them. It's quite nice and very drinkable.
Overall, if I could find this bottled I would like to see how it stacks up. It's sometimes a much different tasting. On draft, I'd grab a pint anytime.

Pours brown in color with a small tan head. Smells kind of funky. Grass and light lactic acidity with a bit of lemon. A touch of metal in there, too. There is a nice wine note and moderate roast. The flavor has a bit of tannic wood character along with wine and grape. Some mild tartness, lemon peel, grass, and oak. I like the regular version of the porter better.
