On-tap at Ladyface Ale Companie, Agoura Hills, CA
A: The beer is very hazy yellow in color. It poured with a thin bright white head that died down and left a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass. The head eventually faded away and left no traces of bubbles.
S: Light to moderate aromas of peppery spices are present in the nose along with notes of lemon citrus.
T: The taste is similar to the smell, except that the lemon citrus flavors are a bit stronger and the peppery spices are a little more subdued.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. No dryness is perceptible.
O: This beer is quite refreshing but lacks the dryness often attributable to beers in this style.

La Grisette, meaning "little grey" in French, is a nearly extinct style of a Belgian farmhouse wheat ale. It is pale-coloured, low alcohol, refreshing and light, and brewed with acidulated barley that adds a crisp tartness to the finish. The term was also applied to the independent, unconventional young women who left their country lives to work in bohemian Paris at the turn of the 19th century. The word 'grisette' refers to a simple dress of gray fabric as well as the free-spirited women who wore them.
A: Pours a hazy grapefruit skin yellow with 1/2" white head which leaves a few spots of lace.
N: Lemony wheat, yeast, grainy and earthy with a mild funk.
T: Mostly follows the nose with a mellow sourness.
M: Lite body and moderate carbonation. Finishes with lemony wheat.
O: Refreshing and easy drinking. A good palate cleanser. Nice revival.
