I have come here around three or four times now, the most recent being last night. It is literally a five minute drive from where I live and is located right off the 101 in a quiet area overlooking "Ladyface" Mountain. The atmosphere is great every time I have gone, which is normally during happy hour. The quality of the place is great - brand new and the décor is very upscale. Let's just say it is a place where you wouldn't feel bad taking a date (or your fiancée for that matter).

They have a pretty good selection of guest taps and cellar, but honestly I like getting the house IPA. Going during happy hour and getting them for half off is great. It is defiantly not a horrible IPA for what it is, and I was fortunate enough to try the IPA off the cask with (dang it I forget) added dry hops? The cask IPA was honestly really damn good last night. It had a much better mouthfeel than the normal IPA and had a great fresh hop kick. My fiancée does not normally get my beer "obsession" but she likes the La Blonde ale there and loves the Pommes Frites (as do I). The few other food items we have tried various times have all been great. At the end of the day, going during happy hour you can get two [house] beers each and a basket of Pommes Frites for under $15 dollars. Now, granted if you order any full price items the price goes up but it isn't horribly priced for the quality.

The only issue we had (which someone else mentioned) was the service is a bit lackluster. Our waitress, while nice, would constantly forget things we ordered. The irony was each time she would ask us what we wanted she would hold up a pad of paper and a pen yet never write anything down, then five minutes later she would come back and ask us what we wanted, heh. Oh well, the place is great for the area and I will be definitely be going back there in the future. (1,859 characters)

Beers weren't all that great and service was very, very slow even though they weren't very busy. The theme is unique but it didn't really feel like a brewery (157 characters)

Food was decent but service was slow. Only had Belgians and one scotch ale on. (78 characters)

One of the nicest breweries I have been too. Very impressed with the ambiance. A nice restaurant, a little pricey, but staff still very knowledgable of their beers which makes a good brewery to me. Glad I stopped in coming home from Santa Barbara to l.A. Great food, too!! (272 characters)

This place is really clean and easy going but I have had mixed experience with service
The servers do not know much about beer
The stuff they brew is decent enough I like the DIPA but do not get growler fills because so expensive I feel like $20+ for just the fill is too much
I have also had really rude bartenders and one time filled a growler and they tried to charge me too much and had to argue that I want the price listed on the board
The food is decent but once again pricey
i think this place caters to an older crowd who is not worried about overpaying I would rather frequent other spots more friendly to beer geeks (631 characters)
