I have come here around three or four times now, the most recent being last night. It is literally a five minute drive from where I live and is located right off the 101 in a quiet area overlooking "Ladyface" Mountain. The atmosphere is great every time I have gone, which is normally during happy hour. The quality of the place is great - brand new and the décor is very upscale. Let's just say it is a place where you wouldn't feel bad taking a date (or your fiancée for that matter).

They have a pretty good selection of guest taps and cellar, but honestly I like getting the house IPA. Going during happy hour and getting them for half off is great. It is defiantly not a horrible IPA for what it is, and I was fortunate enough to try the IPA off the cask with (dang it I forget) added dry hops? The cask IPA was honestly really damn good last night. It had a much better mouthfeel than the normal IPA and had a great fresh hop kick. My fiancée does not normally get my beer "obsession" but she likes the La Blonde ale there and loves the Pommes Frites (as do I). The few other food items we have tried various times have all been great. At the end of the day, going during happy hour you can get two [house] beers each and a basket of Pommes Frites for under $15 dollars. Now, granted if you order any full price items the price goes up but it isn't horribly priced for the quality.

The only issue we had (which someone else mentioned) was the service is a bit lackluster. Our waitress, while nice, would constantly forget things we ordered. The irony was each time she would ask us what we wanted she would hold up a pad of paper and a pen yet never write anything down, then five minutes later she would come back and ask us what we wanted, heh. Oh well, the place is great for the area and I will be definitely be going back there in the future.

This place is really clean and easy going but I have had mixed experience with service
The servers do not know much about beer
The stuff they brew is decent enough I like the DIPA but do not get growler fills because so expensive I feel like $20+ for just the fill is too much
I have also had really rude bartenders and one time filled a growler and they tried to charge me too much and had to argue that I want the price listed on the board
The food is decent but once again pricey
i think this place caters to an older crowd who is not worried about overpaying I would rather frequent other spots more friendly to beer geeks

This is my favorite spot. Beer is always good, and the food is a perfect pairing. Love the heavy fats available on the menu and perfect beers to cut them with. Always have a great time here, and I often bring big groups. Do not miss the burger or the sliders. Really appreciate their sourcing of the meats they get. I think the Tripel is their best beer, but, love that they're always up to something unique as well.

Vibe: This brewery is conveniently located about two blocks away from an interchange on the Ventura Freeway. They have an indoor seating area and bar with views of the brewery's fermenting tanks and an outdoor deck area that overlooks the Santa Monica Mountains.

Quality: Beers were served at the proper temperature using a variety of glassware types.

Service: I went there on a weekday for a late lunch and service was very quick. Our waitress was very friendly and there were constantly wait staff circling around the seating areas.

Selection: The place had 16 total taps, with 13 being their own beers and the remainder being guest beers from other breweries. Flights were available for up to eight beers at a time; the samples came in five ounce glasses and prices varied by beer.

Food: I tried a pork belly BLT sandwich on country bread and really enjoyed it. The food was of high quality and had a very good presentation on the plates.

Impressed by the quality and selection of brews here. Bartenders are very helpful with selection and tasting. Outside service is slightly lacking knowledge, but overall this place still rates outstanding and I am a repeat patron. Very pleasant relaxing outdoor patio with tables and a few lounge chairs, with a misting system to keep it cool during warm days. You might want to stay inside during those 90+ degree days. Other patrons tend to agree this is a favorite local place in comparison to nearby competitors. I'm a big fan of their IPAs and guest brews which change frequently. Personal favorites so far include Blue-Belly Barleywine, Cataclysm IPA, Blind Ambition. Growlers are available "to go" with a deposit. Happy Hour begins at 3pm.

Food menu is nice, somewhat upscale, but not complicated, with sufficient choices for bar food and dinner entrees. Sweet potato fries with aioli and creme fraiche dips are a favorite, or the pretzel served with gourmet cheese dip, if you want something light. Haven't had the opportunity for dinner, as I'm usually quite filled up by the ale and appetizer!

Definitely will be continue to visit this place.

AWESOME
I've visited over 70 breweries in california and besides Stone, this is the best beer and food quality in one place that I've come across.
The belgian dark and the double ipa were outstanding and the picture city porter was really tasty and coffee/chocalte work perfectly.
So many beers are similar and not memorable but everything we tried at Ladyface was interesting and flavorful. After tasting each one, you look at each other and say "wow, that's really different".
Great looking bar on the inside, nice seating outside.
Food is higher quality than you get at most restaurants so much better than you get at most pubs. My wife had the chicken sandwich which was awesome and I've had their burgers and the fish & chips which are both great.
Nothing but great things to say about Ladyface.
