Visited on February 3rd, 2010 at opening time (2:00pm).

The decor of this place (which apparently used to be a Chuy's mexican place) is very nice: turn of the century wainscotting around the walls, only two televisions in evidence (two too many, but at least it's only two), tasteful and eye-catching Art Nouveau posters. The theme of the place is Belgian and French inspired cuisine and the decor complements it well.

The quality of the food and beer is beyond reproach: no corners cut in ingredients or preparation.

The wait staff is friendly, young, attentive and attractive. Our waitress even knew a thing or two about beer, which is always a plus! One of the owners stopped by to chat for a moment, as did a lady I presumed was the manager and Dave the brewmaster.

The guest taps were well-chosen and plentiful enough that I couldn't have tried everything in one visit. What more can you ask for? I had two of the three house brews: the tripel was very good and the IPA... well, I liked the tripel.

My friend and I ordered the Pommes Frites - classic Belgian fries seasoned with sea salt and accompanied by an aoli dip. They were great when warm, but quickly turned soggy and cold. Still, we finished them all. Yes, they tasted that good.

For my entree, I had the sausage plate. Served with three interesting mustards and pretzel bread, it was a diverse and satisfying taste adventure.

My friend ordered the burger with blue cheese on a standard white bread bun. He declared it very good.

For dessert, we each had an obscenely large creme brulee redolent of rum and vanilla bean. Delicious.

Be warned, however: the meal above (including four beers between the two of us and a gratuity) was $75.00. Ladyface is not cheap.

I will make it a point to stop in as often as is convenient. It is a bit out of the way for me, but is worth a visit for anyone who treasures great food paired with great beer.

This place is really clean and easy going but I have had mixed experience with service
The servers do not know much about beer
The stuff they brew is decent enough I like the DIPA but do not get growler fills because so expensive I feel like $20+ for just the fill is too much
I have also had really rude bartenders and one time filled a growler and they tried to charge me too much and had to argue that I want the price listed on the board
The food is decent but once again pricey
i think this place caters to an older crowd who is not worried about overpaying I would rather frequent other spots more friendly to beer geeks

This is my favorite spot. Beer is always good, and the food is a perfect pairing. Love the heavy fats available on the menu and perfect beers to cut them with. Always have a great time here, and I often bring big groups. Do not miss the burger or the sliders. Really appreciate their sourcing of the meats they get. I think the Tripel is their best beer, but, love that they're always up to something unique as well.
