Thanks to ericandersnavy for sharing this bottle.

The beer pours a dark red color with a white head. The aroma is pretty faint with some tartness as well as some caramel malt. The flavor is very heavy on the oak with some faint tartness. This is about like drinking acorn tea. Slightly watery mouthfeel and medium carbonation. (330 characters)

A-light maroon with a half finger head

S-tart cherries

T-light oak and sourness from the cherries, slightly astringent

M- medium, coats the mouth and definitely the right amount of carbonation for the style. Unforunately there was some particulate matter, i.e. floaties.

O-Really a nice attempt at the style. If you like sour cherries you will like this beer, but it is not world class. I had to review Isis because I love what this brewery does and I feel it flies way under the radar. (492 characters)
