Excellent liquor store overall. The Craft beer selection is one of the best around. Everyone who works there really knows their beer and is very helpful when it comes to selecting new things. They even have some special beers in the back that they will give you if you ask. Will always hold something for you if you don't want them to run out before you get there. All in all great place friendly people great selection and great help.

Quality store tucked in between a dunkin-donuts and a golf shop. you wouldn't expect this small unassuming shop to have such a great selection and solid deals on make your own six packs. I have to give this store the nod for central NJ because of that. The other strong local store (adelphia) doesn't restock well enough to get the nod.

Definitely a great beer store. They have a mix your own six-pack, one of my favorite things a store can have. The selection is great, had a few beers I hadn't seen anywhere else. This place is definitely a go to for craft beer. Right on par with the store across 18. It works out perfectly because you have to pass one on the way to the other so I can't see myself not stopping at both.

Edit: I have to re-review this and give it a better score. It is hands down the best beer store in the area. They have new stuff every single week. I've never been able to say that about a store before. Their stock rotates regularly so you'll always have new releases and fresh seasonals. The staff is always very friendly as well.

did like this place. good service. good singles selection (bombers and 12oz) and with the 12oz (and close sizes) you can mix the six and knock off 5%. honest staff, good selection. weird location, busy road, traffic. but yea one of the best selections in central NJ

Great place for craft beers. I used to use their more famous neighbor (Rte 18 marketplace) but Wine World has better prices on just about everything. Dan knows his stuff and is enthusiastic. Love getting my beer mail every Friday. They also do a good job of turning over the product--some places overstock on items to make it seem like they have a ton of things. Wine World has a fantastic selection, but seem to go more for quality over quantity.

I've never been to a better place, with better people to get the best beer. They always have an exceptional selection in stock and if they don't have what your looking for it'll be back in stock on Friday. Dan and Jeff are the guys you want to talk to about beer. Dan does all the beer ordering and knows his beer very well. Jeff is a great home brewer who knows beer all too well, but be careful he will get you spending triple the money you wanted to. Love wine? Then Matt is the guy you want to speak to, he is the wine extraordinaire. George is another craft beer enthusiast and also a friend of mine who wont steer you wrong. All the guys there have turned into good friends of mine, who I've shared many long beer chats with. (probably too long)
Over all great shop, great service and great people. Wine World of East Brunswick gets an A++ from me.
Oh yea and a shit ton of great Craft Beer.

nice selection of craft brews that they have been expanding the past two years. They have several large coolers so can get cold craft bombers six-packs and twelve packs. I like 5liter mini kegs. You can get BMC stuff, some good wines and a variety of hard liqour. Mix-a six is also available.

This is a really solid establishment. The folks working the floor always ask if you have any questions or need help. I walked in the other day looking for something that was scarce and I was told to come back in a couple of days and sure enough it was set aside for me.

They have a very good selection of beers and they are expanding some other sections as well which is nice if you are interested in other spirits such as single malt scotch. I'm very impressed with this place and I would recommend it to anyone in the area or within a reasonable distance.

As Chugs13 said, I'm very surprised there are so few reviews on this store. I have a few places local to me that I may stop in every so often just what they have (if anything) and if you don't already know, it is incredibly awkward to have to walk out empty handed from a liquor store. You won't have that problem with this store.

They are constantly updating their selection and all employees (that I've spoken with) are very knowledgeable on their beer. They go one step further than just having a great selection. When you speak to the employees about beer, they have actually tried a great many of them and will give you their honest opinion. Many times you go into a store that may have a great selection but nobody that works there knows enough to advise your purchase.

As others have already said, it is also a very clean store. Ive been to stores with decent to good selections that are just strewn about on the shelves and cause you to spend WAY too long in the store than even a beer geek planned on. Wine World is clean and open and easy to navigate with friendly and knowledgeable employees! DEFINITELY somewhere to check in on at LEAST once a week or every other week!

I stop by once or twice a week after work, and its simply a great shop. Im surprised there are such few reviews, especially compared to 'Marketplace', as I believe this is a much better spot.

This is a large store that is nice and open, and very clean and organized. They have a ton of cooler doors along the back of the store, many of which are dedicated to craft 4, 6, and 12 packs, and a few doors dedicated to bombers and single serves. I love how the craft brands have the primary cooler door locations and the macro domestics and imports are tucked away in the back corner.

They have an extremely large warm self completely dedicated to craft. On one side they have a great selection of bombers (Stone, Rogue, Unibroue, Jolly Pumpkin, Southern Tier, Allagash, Firestone Walker, Great Divide, Mikeller, Ommegang, Hoppin' Frog), as well as 4, and 6 packs (DFH, Troegs, Victory, Founders, Riverhorse, Smuttynose, Weyerbacher, Lagunitas, Sierra Nevada, 21st Amendment, Six Point, Yards). Everything is very organized and clearly priced.

On the opposite side of the craft warm self they have an extensive mix a 6 section that is always expanding, and has plenty of room to keep expanding, which it looks like the managers are trying to do in regards to the store as a whole. I can almost never leave without grabbing a few single bottles.

They also feature like an end cap of seasonal stacks of a rather vast variety. They even put together pre mixed seasonal variety 6 packs, which I love since they get so many different seasonals, and I just want to try them all.

The service here is second to none. There are like 5 or 6 guys who work here that are all awesome, they are all extremely friendly, personable, and willing to help. Everyone is very knowledgeable and more then happy to give suggestions and just talk beer for awhile.

If there is something they dont have or you have a question about the availability of something, Dan is very approachable and willing to answer questions and inquire about something for you. And llok out for Dan's Picks shelf talkers.

Again, great shop, great people. I always look forward to stopping in.

Stopped in the other day looking for Sixpoint, Founders, New Holland and Sly Fox. They had beers from all of these brew houses as well as other regionals like Victory, Stoudt's, Lancaster, Cricket Hill, River Horse, Brooklyn and Climax.

Essentially, beer is showcased in two aisles and a set of collers in the far back. Nice assortment of singles and they encourage customers to make their own 6 packs. Small, but good selection of Belgian and English. Eers as well but American craft is the main focus.

I had a chance to talk with one of the beer guys and they seemed genuinely excited about serving beer lovers and craft beer.

I would recommend this place for sure.

I live a couple of blocks from Wine World and used to stick my head in every so often while getting Dunkin Donuts. I never found a reason to buy anything there... Until now. I went in there last week to see if they were getting any DFH 120, unfortunately they were not. I was amazed at the turnaround that has happened there. They are now supporting a very wide selection and a BIG selection that is kept cold. I met Matt and another fellow (name slips my mind) and talked for a bit. Great guys and knowledgeable too. They told me that Dan was the beer man but I have not met him yet. I am glad to have another great outlet so close to home. Good people drink good beer.

I went to Wine World earlier this year and was only mildly impressed as they had some decent beers in the cooler, but only one small rack with some well know bombers (Chimay, Delirium Tremens, some Stone) but what I thought was a very limited selection. Stopped back again early in the summer and was amazed as they had a whole aisle dedicated to beer, with many many goodies and not always easy to find bombers (Bear Republic, Lagunitas, DFH, Stone, Weyerbacher, Southern Tier, all the great Belgians and a ton of other stuff. Just a great variety of east and west coast and all the Sixpoint cans too which i sometimes have trouble finding in NJ.
Dan always comes over to help me and has suggested some great stuff, and is very knowledgeable. On my most recent visit i see they are now starting another aisle dedicated to beer selling alot of singles. They also let you package up some variety packs too and had a pumpkin sampler already mixed in the cooler. This place seems to only get better and is my new go to place on my way home from work.

Ignore all reviews before July 2011 because the place has been transformed! There is a competing liquor store on Rte 18 eastbound that has a truly ridiculous selection but relatively high prices.

The first time I came in to Wine World, they had a small selection of craft brews but were consistently about 10% cheaper than the other place. In the past month, Wine World has exploded the selection. Some of the beers, such as the Long Trails or the various Sam Adams, are as inexpensive as Wegman's. They charge $9.49 for the Old Rasputin, which is a good price. A few of the beers like the Founders or Lagunitas were a bit pricy but you can't typically get those just anywhere.

They have a huge selection of the Stone and Rogue bombers. They have a few Stones that I have never seen before, even at the other place.

I ended up buying the Sierra Nevada Boot Camp 12-pack for $18 (minus a 10% discount the manager gave to me because we chatted beer for 45 minutes.) I also got the Long Trail Brewmaster Double IPA for $4.49 (bomber) and the Elysian Immortal IPA for $4.99 (bomber) and the Hop Rod Rye for $8.99 for a 4-pack.

I was surprised they don't have Smuttynose, which is a well-reviewed brewer with great distribution in NJ. Other than that, they have all of the other craft beers you would expect in central NJ plus a few you would not expect (like the over-priced Schlafly Reserves.)

Dan was extremely knowledgeable about their beers and steered me to and away from some beers based on our conversation. That's great value given the wide selection!

They're really dedicated to craft beers so buy a couple six packs or bombers and then review them here and get a 10% discount off your next purchase.

The bottom line is that it will be next to impossible for you to NOT find something here that you have never had before. If it does occur though, then do a u-turn and try the place on the eastbound side of Rte 18. You will pay a bit more though.

This place used to have the worst selection, but they really stepped it up. They have several doors of micros cold and a great warm selection. Every time I go in there they have something new. Last time I went I picked up some founders breakfast stout and oscar blues ten fidy and was quite pleased. I did spend more money than I wanted to, but it was definately worth it.

If you live in the area you should check it out, the only complaint I have is they could expand their selection a little bit more.

The selection isn't great. Very little Dogfish Head, some Stone, some Leinenkugels and all the macros. There was nothing that really stood out. They had a decent selection of Victory. It looks much bigger from the outside. There is an entire room for cases of beer, which was filled with almost all macros and a lone case of Dogfish Head. All the 6 packs are refrigerated with a small selection of bombers. There were about 3 refrigerated cases of craft beer in all. I would stop here if it was on my way somewhere and I wasn't looking for anything specific.
