Can from an Amart in Hue, Vietnam. 4.50% ABV.
Slightly buttery. Too sweet, throwing off the balance. Pils malts.
Smooth, wet, light to medium-bodied, unrefreshing. Overcarbonated.
Forgettable schlock. I'd probably sooner go for regular Larue, but it's drinkable.
D+ / AVOID

Poured from a 33cL can into a glass in Hué.

Orange-yellow and perfectly clear. Short-lived fizzy head. It smells metallic and lager like, though oddly sweet. Sorghum?
Bizarre and banana-like on the maintaste, with brown sugar accents. This is almost like a dessert beer. Smooth and malty, it's so sweet that it avoids the sulfuric horror of its non-export incarnation, but still suffers from metallicism. Not recommended save for a last resort.

Can from a supermarket in Vietnam. From notes.
A - One finger white head gone fast on a light golden body. Bright. Good carbonation, no retention, no lace.
S - Honey, dry grain, some fruitiness.
T - Grainy, honey, a little husky.
M - Dry finish, good carbonation, light to medium body.
O/D - Seems similar to it's domestic cousin. Dry and grainy, while being mostly inoffensive. Not bad in any way but not worth revisiting at all. Similar to just about everything else in Asia. No originality, but does what it meant to do.

Ingredients: Malt, grains, hops
A - Transparent yellow body with pure white head.
S - Suprisingly malty aroma, however plain with a hint of perle hop aroma, and soil.
T - Big flavor for such a light colored lager. Lots of grain husk flavors and a seriously odd rye flavor on the finish.
M - Very carbonated and light bodied.
D - I was surprised and encouraged with the initial flavor, however, this beer lacks something in integration, which I just can put my finger on.
