Poured into a narrow water glass. Appearance is a light golden color topped by a white head with impressive retention. Smell is pretty rough as pent-up grainyness, especially corn aromas are unleashed upon the nose with the pour. Familiar adjunct flavors - light grains and uhhh... no, not really getting the Czech hops this beer promises. Now corn, yeah, that's there. Barely. No offensive flavors. The mouthfeel is light and smooth, if slightly undercarbonated.
Overall, it's drinkable if you happen to be looking for a light adjunct in Uganda. That said, for it to remotely resemble the Czech-style pilsener they are trying to attain, the beer needs to use much more of the "imported aromatic Saaz hops".
