Never heard of North Peak before we dont get it in Western Pa so when I saw it said yep another new brewery for me to try!
Upon pouring this I noticed a great amber color a bit cloudy and hardly any foam or head retention.Very little in the way of smell, light malts and that's sadly it.Taste has a light malty grassy feel about it with a slight hop taste mostly of floral but also some citrus in there. The mouth feel is a bit watery with very little carbonation. While not exactly a drain pour this is a week example of the style, would try it again but probably would never be a regular seeker of. Overall an OK beer.

Floral and nutty, aroma. Slight metallic flavor is offputting. Dry, deeply toasted finish. There's a bit of fruity specialty malt character. Bitterness isn't overwhelming. Malt definitely dominates. Could use more hop character to be a true amber. Very easy drinking.

Pours a clear, copper color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Slight retention and slight lacing. Smells of sweet malt, hops, hint of pale malt, and a hint of caramel malt. Fits the style of an American Amber / Red Ale. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with a low carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, hops, hint of roasted malt, hint of alcohol, and a hint of caramel malt. Overall, decent aroma, good feel, and decent aroma, but lacking in appearance.
