Very light but iridescent peachy orange with virtually no head. Lots of dry natural wheat aroma but little else. The flavor is big on wheat grain with a sour cherry that wants to be medicinal but never gets there. The feel is dry and easy but the carbonation may be a bit high. Not my favorite, though I enjoy wheat beers, it just never asserts itself.

Bottled on 3/26/14.
Pours a hazy orange with a foamy beige head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of wheat, earth, and slight fruit aromas. Taste is much the same with grain and slight fruit juice flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of earth bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an average beer that is pretty boring and doesn't really have much of a cherry juice aspect that the label describes.

My first review of a NP brew, had this poured from the bottle into a weizen glass. The aroma was citrus mixed with cherries, which I have to say was one of the more appealing things about the beer. The color was a soft gold, translucent but almost clear. The taste to me however was confusing and almost clashing. I think that he cherry flavor almost was too harsh and took away from the mildness one usually looks for in a summer wheat. Style points for the cool bottle, but not one of my favorites.

Brilliant clarity, though darker golden than expected. Subtle cherry aroma, notes of wheat and malt.
Flavor reveals more cherry flavor on a toasted malt backbone. Floral and earthy hops add complexity. There's a touch of buttery character, with slight plastic.
Easy drinking brew with the added complexity of cherries, which is nice change of pace.
