I haven't seen these stubby bottles since the last time I've seen Strange Brew even a bit stubbier than a Red Stripe, or it's just my imagination. Pours a glowing orange copper hue with a thicket of khaki tan head forming nicely with fine speckled lacing spread evenly. Aroma has nice pungent citrus and pine hop accents with hints of floral notes as well. Sharp wheat note amongst the hop parade. An American wheat IPA from Michigan cool. Juicy citrus/mango/pine hops with a sweet, semi sugary malt profile sharp wheat accents. Mouthfeel is medium bodied a bit cloying with hop oils, mild alcohol burn and bitterness in the finish. Not offensive just doesn't end as dry as I like my hoppy beers, interesting to say the least and quite enjoyable experience. Super fresh brewed mid March.

Good brew, vicious is the right way to describe this one! This one is copper and bitter, another perfect example of Michigan awesomeness. I will not budge on my love for North Peak and this one is just amazing too!

Pours a hazy orange with a thin white head. Head retention is moderate, with little to no lacing left behind. Aroma is dominated by sweet, bread malts, with a dash of pine hop notes. Flavor profile is more malts, but with a pine and earthy bitter hop side. The malts are earthy, and bread-like. Interesting contradiction between the two. Overall, it's on the bitter side. It leaves a bitter, pine taste in the back of the throat. Mouth feel is smooth, with a medium consistency. Overall, it's not the most impressive brew. It seems to be more bitter for the sake of being bitter.
Served in a 12oz snifter.

Long lasting white head with a full IPA flavor. The body seems to lighten during the finish. Nice IPA.
