Poured into a flute.
Appearance: Pours a golden amber where yeast is apparently present in the beer. Yes visibly present...no I'm not complaining, looks really appetizing. Head comes off white roughly a full inch.
Smell: Aroma is a much better word suited for this fine piece. Smells of heavy yeast and moderate hops, you can say it's complicated but may come off to some as sweet. Like inhaling fine wine.
Mouth: Little too bubbly for my taste, i would say it comes off medium to heavy and quite honestly might be what really helps the flavor.
Overall: Fine craftsmanship, yes I said it. I truly love what Chimay has done with this beer and a definite keeper like most Chimays. Cheers to all and drink with pride.
