I've had this dozens of times, but somehow only now am getting around to formally reviewing it.
A - Poured from a c&c bottle into a Chimay goblet (BRANDING). Pours goldenrod, the color of a wheat field at sunset. A good sized foamy ecru head accumulates quickly and fades slightly more slowly.
S - Very noticeable clove and banana, very sweet, think Belgian candi sugar. Slight hops aroma in the mix as well.
T - There is a warm alcohol flavor throughout that is sort of intensified as it sticks around into the aftertaste. Starts off like a hefeweizen; cloves and banana, lots of yeast, but then gets a bit sweeter, warmer, more alcoholic.
M - Bubbly, tickles the mouth, lots of carbonation.
