Poured from a 11.2 oz. bottle into a Pilsner glass.
A- Hazy straw color with a lot of carbonation long lasting white lacing.
S- The smell of Malt and Yeast, no hops aroma at all.
T- Malty and smooth as it gets, a very subtle hops bitterness, this is a well balanced beer. Alcohol is barely noticeable. There is a sweet subtle fruitiness and phenols detected.
M- Mouthfeel is perfect and the carbonation only helps the drinkability.
F- Finish is dry and pleasant.
A classic to be enjoyed those who want to experience as close to a perfect bottle of beer as humanly possible. I am starting to think the Monks had some Devine inspiration with the recipe.
