I enjoyed Chimay White from a 25.4 oz. bottle into a chilled Chimay logo chalice, as it seems like the colder the better for this Belgian classic.
The color is solid golden and the beer pours with a little bit of lacing that fades away quickly.
The aroma really brought me in. While not overpowering, this beer smells like it has a little bit of wheat and citrus flavor, and the alcohol was detectable but not offensive. The overall blend of whatever they put in this beer smells very inviting!
The mouthfeel was a bit more mellow than some of the other Belgian Tripel brands I've tried. I didn't detect as much carbonation as a La Fin Du Monde or Delirium Tremens.
Chimay White tastes great, and it's extremely drinkable despite the 8% ABV. It's pretty easy to knock back 2 of the 25.4s, and it leaves you feeling fantastic. My friends and I have noticed that hangovers seem to be non-existent with Chimay White!
Fans of Belgian Tripel style beer should consider this a must-try. Chmiay White is one of the best.

Poured from their capped bottle into a chalice, nice two finger head, tight small cream colored bubbles, left significant lacing. Did not hold as long as the Chimay red, but certainly above average. Color is a hazy straw orange.
Smell some nuttiness and slightly more hop notes than what I have come to expect from Chimay, but definitely pleasing. As I often say in my reviews, this is not my best area, so I often miss subtle notes.
First taste had an almost almond bright note, then the citrus, last some spice, very subtle peppery bite, not bad, don't panic, it isn't spicy in the sense that it creates heat. Like all of the Chimay brands, other flavors show up as they warm. The chalice is a must!
Mouthfeel is full and rich all the way. Unlike American attempts at this type, the Belgians know how to hide their ABV!
Overall, I prefer Chimay Red, followed by Blue, then this. That being said, this is an outstanding Belgian Triple, well worth the experience, my guess is it is a great first Triple, because the color and aroma will please many different palates.
