Appearance: Pours a light golden-orange color with a couple fingers of tight white head. Retention is very nice, and the remaining lacing is tight and abundant.
Smell: A good deal of citrus, esters, cloves, a bit of banana, and Belgian yeast.
Taste: This is probably the most citrus-y tripel I have tried. Quite a bit of citrus (grapefruit and even pineapple) up front, with cloves, esters on the back end. A bit of dry bitterness lingers.
Mouthfeel/Drinkability: Light bodied, mouthfeel is soft and creamy. Very nice overall with slightly peppery carbonation. This is a very drinkable beer; the alcohol is well hidden.
Serving type: bottle
