33 cl Bottle poured into a Trappistes Fochefort goblet

A- beautiful golden orange with thick white head and abundent carbonation

S- typical belgian esters, yeast, citrus. smells delicious

T- extremely well balanced, citrus, and subtle yeast. The taste of clove is present. Finishes a wonderful dry. Leaves you yearning for more.

MF- this is my favorite (thus far) tripel, so I'm a bit biased, but the mouthfeel of this beer is what I guage all other beers by. It is utterly perfect.

O- This beer has been my gold standard for tripel. If you like Belgian beer, you'll love this one. It never fails to satisfy. The alcohol content is masked well, so be warned.

Enjoyed in a snifter

A: pours an orangish amber color that is very hazy and has a ton of suspended sediment and visible chunks which have now sunk to the bottom of the glass, pours with two fingers of off white head that is very frothy and has large bubbles, lingers nicely and leaves spotty lacing on the glass
S: nice, sweet and tart notes, grape sourness and an underlying funk that cant be placed
T: it begins with a nice sweetness then moves into a nice tart note which extends on through the end and lingers onward on the palate, pretty typical for the style, not outstanding but still nice
M: a bit aggressive on the carbonation, moves across the palate with a tartness which becomes noticeable then leaves the palate actually feeling quite dry or maybe even sticky?
O: a nice representation of the style, given all of the hype and the overall ratings i had expected a bit more out of this, appearance is awesome, the smell is pretty good, the taste was just a bit above average

a - hearty golden pour with frothy head, right into a chimay chalice...picturesque

s - eyes closed, an easy triple pick...belgian yeasts/fruits, somewhat earthy, bit sweet...

t - An easy cream finish completes the sweet breadiness of this triple. A blend of dark fruit, Belgian yeast and sweet sugars make this beer quite tasty.

m - Medium bodied, creamy beer that flows quite smoothly

o - Two thumbs up!

Chimay triple.  Picked up a bottle in Sicily.  First time finding this.  Poured into a wine glass courtesy of Disney. Pours about two fingers of off white head and is a cloudy deep goldenvery bubbly. Served at the recommended six to eight centigrade.  Very sweet strong fruity example of a triple.  Smells Like a floral arrangement with a somewhat spivey and yeasty frame.   Overall a decentrriple but abitspendy.  Would definitely seek out again.

A-poured into a chalice. Pours a dark hazy golden color with a white foamy/soapy head with ridiculous retention and of course a fantastic lace around the glass. Also has yeast sediment from fermentation
S-barnyard/yeast smell, spicy, honey, sweet malt linger in the background
T-Such an array of flavors. The hops bring alot of bitterness and spice while the malt keeps it in check without dominating the flavor. Even though there is abundant flavor the beer is still so delicate and leaves a nice clean feeling on the palate.
M-medium-light body with a good amount of carbonation
O-Just an amazing beer. The complexity and craftsmanship of the Chimay beers astound me. By far one of my all time favorite beers for any style or brewery
