Brown body with some ruby notes in there. Opaque in the deepest center, becoming more and more translucent from there.
Some sweet dark malts that come through in the nose as dark fruits.
Very tasty beer. Dark fruits come through like figs and also apple. Sweet, but not overpoweringly so. Some notes of pepper come through also. Finishes with a great hoppy character that is grassy and earthy, noble hops. Just the tiniest bit of alcohol comes through.
Mouthfeel is very light and well-carbonated. A lively feeling that slides across the tongue very nicely.
Extremely drinkable. Maybe the most drinkable example of this style I have encountered. A great beer.
