A - Beautiful burnt-red/brown color. Fairly murky. Three finger head that lasts. Nice white lacing.
S - Lots of malt, spices, and raisin notes. Slight phenol smell.
T - Sweet and malty with a hint of cloves. The alcohol content is much more noticeable from the taste than the smell (but still not overpowering).
M - Medium mouth feel. Not nearly as heavy as you would imagine. Malty alcohol aftertaste.
O - One of my favorite beers from one of my favorite styles. This is what Ben Franklin was talking about...
