" I couldnt ask for a better place within 40 miles to have an excellent beer and excellent food", said one of the previous reviewers. I beg to differ. Peekskill is 35 miles from here and it's got a brewery and a world-class beer bar. Armonk is not far from here and it has got an amazing beer store and bar.

But going back to Bedford- this has got to be the only place to get good beer around here, no doubt. Just be prepared to pay thousands of dollars for so-so food and so-so service in an atmosphere that would please Martha Stewart and her minions. Everyone here is white, blonde and wealthy.

The draft beers here are not terribly exciting: Rogue Dead Guy, Peekskill Eastern, Lagunitas Lil' , Dale's Pale, Ommegang White... all for seven or eight dollars a pop.

The Sumpin' the wife ordered didn't taste terribly fresh...

Food-wise, my fifteen-dollar mushroom salad had lots of greens but barely any 'shrooms. The onion rings, on the other hand, were amazing! P.J. Clarke's-style, if you know what I mean.

I wouldn't go back. Not until I make my first million or start a hedge fund. (1,096 characters)

Fantastic restaurant with great food and a great atmosphere. The beer selection here is excellently tailored and so well maintained. I've seen the likes of Sculpin, Flower power, and FW Double Jack on tap here, among many others. The bottle list is also incredible. When I visited a while back they had received a single case of Heady Topper from the Alchemist, which is now long gone. Their bottle list has FW Abacus, FW Anniversary Ale, and Allagash Crieux amongst a lot more. A great stop for great beer and great food. If you're in the area its definitely a must visit. (573 characters)

I really enjoyed getting lunch at the Meeting house. The atmosphere is wonderful. The local artist paintings are really great also. The service was GREAT, and the food was top notch. The beer selection for a small place was astounding, with beers on draft such as Sculpin by ballast point, Troegs hopback, lagunitas little sumpin' etc. I couldnt ask for a better place within 40 miles to have an excellent beer and excellent food. I cant forget to mention their beer bottle selection. The one that stood out for me was alllagash curiex. They had several other great offerings as well. Also The wine and spirits selection didnt seem bad at all. Overal great experience and they are on the right track for sure. Thanks Joe, ill be sure to come back soon. (752 characters)
