The tasting: Pours a golden straw color with two fingers of white head, which is long lasting and leaves some lacing. Appearance is slightly hazy, less than I expected for the style. As advertised, it's highly carbonated as I see lots of effervescence. Aroma is mainly yeast. Flavor is that of cereal-like malts, with no hop bitterness. Body is light. Mouth feel is carbonated fizz--too much for my preference.
Kirkland Signature's Hefeweizen is better than their Pale Ale, but, I'd still pass on it. The flavor is lacking--no fruit, no citrus, no clove. Just carbonation, and loads of it. Overall, a very bland and forgettable beer.
