Ordered it on draft at their brewpub in Talkeetna, AK. Solid dark color. Nice small head, 1/8 to 1/4 in. that lingered during drinking with a light cream color & some small streaks of brown & tan. Beer was very smooth tasting & easy drinking with no aftertaste or surprises. Taste is similar quality as Deschutes Porter and better in my opinion than Founders Porter. Very pleasant porter overall.

A blend of their foreign export stout, amber and flagship IPA. Tastes like it. Pale reddish brown in color with a multi-layered, multi-colored head. Roasty notes stand out most in the aroma. They continue to the taste, with a nice hop bitterness behind. Medium bodied and slightly creamy. Pretty decent.

Tastes like an IPA and porter mixed.

Denali Matt Porter
On tap from the Reluctant Fisherman in Cordova, Alaska
Appearance: dark brown, small head, and some good lacing.
Smell: cocoa and faint hops amongst grain.
Taste: roasted malts, cocoa, and a faint hop finish.
Mouthfeel: medium-light.
Overall:
This is a good porter. It has a nice body and good flavor. It goes down easy and leaves you wanting just a little more.
